bought a rear cooler and tunnel protectors from pioneer and the cooler went in good but how do you put in the tunnel protectors in?, I can`t figure out how to get to the front rivets by the exhaust manifolds? and there are no instructions with them. anybody have any tips on this, I emailed Bruce at pioneer on wednesday for some advice and he has not gotten back to me and our trails open next week and I need to get this thing back together. any help would be great guys..thanks,Tim.

I just changed a cooler in an Attak. I think you have to remove the gas tank and then the rivets should should be easily gotten to. You also have to remove the exhaust to get at the rest of the rivets under the muffler. You will have to drop the rear of the suspension also to align the exhaust when going back in. The clamp's on the exhaust are gotten to through the top of the tunnel, Just remove the rubber plug's, Loosen the clamp's and work the exhaust side to side and it usually comes off with no problem. I live in Oakfield, Where are you in Fond Du Lac? kviper

yea, I pulled seat and tank, exhaust, skid, thought about removing headers but after looking a little further there is a heat shield under them and it is riveted close to the motor and I did not think I could get to them to put the shield back in, so I pulled the driveshaft and track and am going at it from the bottom, just took the cut off wheel and cut the stock protector open and ground off the rivets, then ovaled the bottom hole on the new protector and riveted them in from the bottom, actually works pretty slick, just more time consuming than I figured when I started this project, I am in north fond du lac, down by the high school, shoot me a pm and we can get in contact and go for a ride in a week when the trails open..
