Bought this apex in October with 2650 km, for 6000$ was lady driven. All stock. So far I've installed Oillite bushing, OFT steering blocks, changed engine oil and filter, changed chain case oil, new coolant with water wetter, cleaned and re-oiled air filter, polished tunnel, got the handle bars and riser block, rear bumper, front arms, spindles and complete rear skid Powder Coated, by Diamond Elite Powder Coating in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, if your from the island, look him up on facebook. Installed two new rear spoke wheels the ones with replaceable bearings, took all wheels off and regressed them all, installed new white slides, fourth wheel kit, greased jack and drive shaft bearings, New windsheild, new black stickers for hood, also installed Skins Super-Q exshaut and turn out tips, relocated the rear tail light far back as possible and changed location the wire ran, removed the factory tunnel hooks, and added a Linq System fuel caddy from BRP. 11 Liters of gas. Added new rubber grips and heat warmers, also added yamaha hand guards, plastic dipped the two side panel vents white, waiting on water temp gauge to arrive so I can install it. I'm sure there's more I can't remeber, all yamalube used for this build, besides for coolant, I would like to THANK EVERYONE on this site for thier help with this build, I've leanred so much over the last few months from you guys, thanks very much, there's more to come I'm sure and more to add to make the apex even better, any ideas, thoughts, comments throw it out there and tell me what you think of my build.

I've never oiled the air filter on any sled I've owned. I'm pretty sure you don't want to do that. I've had my Apex since 08. The only thing I've ever oiled the filter for are motorcycles.

I would prefer oiled because nothing else will trap small particles
