Hey guys I have a 2008 Apex it wont start it seems to say code 12 I think thats a crankshaft positron sensor ,is this a costly procedure I am in montreal!
Do you do your own repairs, rm stator sells the pickup coil so you can splice it in,or you can purchase the complete stator with the pickup coil. I just checked the parts fiche and Yamaha doesn't offer the stator any longer. Check out the frequently asked questions section in the Apex section. There are a few stickys of the repair. So you can see if you want to attempt the repair.
I did my 07 about five years ago it wasn't too bad, but I always do my own service.
