2008 NYTRO FX IS DEAD

Good to hear you're getting it fixed...

Could it be the wire harness on the clutch side? Not sure if the sled would go completely dead with that though.

There is a spot on the clutch side, where the harness rubs against a little nub on the engine. Its a casting leftover from the engine.

The dealers were moving the harness out of the way so it didn't rub the harness. Some guys just cut the little nub off. Not sure if this would be your problem though.

check the key switch plug in , had it happen to me, must have been some moisture in there and I had some corrosion in the plug , took it apart and cleaned it up(need small pick to release tabs ,also disconnect battery so you don`t short out and blow a fuse ,small black cover near reverse lever hides these little guys) and greased it up w. dielectric grease . all better now . just another thing to check eh....

I'm not asking this to be a dick but, to rule out the obvious, did you hit the kill switch by mistake? I've done it myself and freaked at first thinking my battery was dead. If the kill switch is down, nothing comes on, not even the LCD.
I had the exact same problem with my 08 rtx disconect the ignition switch at the connector 2 pins where green clean them up so far so good

GOOD NEWS ! ! !

It started, don't know all the details yet just got a phone call telling me that it's running and I got to hear the engine humming...

Thanks everyone, I will let ya all know what it was exactly sometime on Friday when I am back home...

UPDATE & "THE CAUSE"

Hello,

Well what we think is "the cause" {the connecting clip/wiring between the ignition and the rest of the electrical system} after 684 miles, all the other connections are OK, fuses are all 100% OK as well as the relays...

Thanks,

M

P.S. I have posted a few pictures, one is of the cause and the others are some of the upgrades that were on the sled that was purchased...

P.S.S. Hopefully "the cause" picture will help someone else...

Man I've never seen any wire, only 2 years old, corrode that bad. The previous owner must have driven it through salt water. Anyway glad to hear it's fixed.
