I've got a 2008 Phazer MTX and am looking for information on clutching. My understanding is that the factory clutching is for riding at elevations of 8000 - 11 000 ft. The current weighting is top hole open, second hole has a rivet with the center drilled out. My home area is only 1800 ft in elevation so if anyone has a clutching chart or knows what the weighting is for 2000 - 4000 ft, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks
phazer mnt only has 2 holes

Thanks Tbyrd,
I'm definately set for 8000-10000 ft so I should get some extra pop once I change this out. Did these weights come from the repair manual?

I'd look for the weights in the 47.9-48.1 range...total weight. I run 48.1g at 1000ft and am going to 48.5g next cause I still hit the rev limiter a bit at times. My 10k wieghts were 46.4g for reference and they were too light so I went to 47g and that was really good for Togwotee.
yes. right out of repair manual specs.

What is the stock elevation setting for these sleds? Or is there even one? I seem to hit rev limiter all the time and I am at 200'.

My understanding is that the factory setting is 8000-10000 ft. So unless the dealer it was purchased from changed the weighting it's probably set for that elevation.
