2008 phazer

my prediction on the phazer, i think you may see the tunnel closed and or coolers in the footwells to prevent icing or open foot wells like on some other brands mountain sleds.... that seems to be the biggest issue with the phaze... snow on the wells and water in the boots, other than that, small refinements maybe cpl more hp, but probably more of the same, but definately another model in fx like chassis with the 3 holer in it.....

ROCK ON ROBBIE!!!!

"2008" Phazer
Phazer front end
Widder tunnel with cooler 15 track
1050cc motor fuel injected
140hp
estimated thirty five pounds heavier
:drink:
i will be snow checking in a few short weeks

That would be to good to be true my friend

I am still in hopes of a 900 twin in the 130 hp range in a fx chasis. Weight should only be a few lbs more. I hope Yamaha learned that weight is almost as important as HP, most of all in the mountain lineup. If they have to add 30 lbs and widen the frame to get 130-140 hp I will definately be boosting a Phazer. Best handling sled Iv'e ridden yet ;)!

I'm sure hoping they DON'T bring a big twin. If they do, I will definatly not buy it. The vibrations would be horrific. Hoping for a 1050 vector style motor, no vibrations, and you don't need gear reduction, weight saved.

And call it the SHAKER ? ! ?

Guys, I'm not sure if you ride the powder or just lakes and trails, but my rx-1s are not up to snuff due only to the weighton the hills(No boost yet) The FX chasis is a HUGE step in the right direction to me. My RX is usually the fastest on the lakes by a healthy margin, and yes I can "keep up" in the powder with alot of effort. Why do you think it will rattle or vibrate so severely over the 500? I hear some complain of the vibration in the bars on the FX, but I don't see a problem. JMO :rocks:
