I have a 2008 yamaha vector that, occasionally the Headlights and heater grips will go out. I have gone through all of the connections and cannot find if there is a shortage or a loose connection. I did the "wiggle test" and still cannot find the problem, every connection seems tight. I once had the error code 81 come up but now just the headlights and heater grips will go out time to time. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the harness plugs for corrosion from the light to the engine as well as all the plugs that go to the grips under the light pod.

i have check all the plugs under the light pod and everything looks clean. Could a faulty hand grip from time to time cause this? Also, if i unplug the hand warmer concector, should it throw a code?
Anyone else have any input?
Thanks

Any luck getting this fixed?

I would check those pesky ground blocks. They have been known to cause odd electrical issues.

Sorry for the late response but still not sure if if this is resolved yet, after going through the whole sled, I decided to just buy new heater grips so see if that is the problem... just order the grips, hope this solves my issue.
