2009 Apex sled mounted mirrors

Has anyone had any experience with these mirrors? Likes or dislikes? Before I drill holes, I thought I'd see what people think.

My buddy has them an hates them I tried them on his sled I did not like them I put the ones from power MADD on the hand guards.

Was it how they were mounted? Is there anything you can see that you would do differently or are these just a poor design for the sled?

If theses are the ones mounted to the side panels, see if you can get your money back. I had them on my Attak and absolutely hated them. You'll have to lift your elbow and duck your head down to see out of them. I run Powermadd handcarts with their mirrors. They're OK for seeing a sled headlight behind you,but not much more. Search "Apex and mirrors" in the search function at the top of the homepage and you'll get some ideas of what others have tried.

those mirrors suck cant see them while on the sled . I love the rtx mirror kit for thease sleds they are like motorcycle mirrors work great.

Wonderful news. Should have research thru this site first. Did get them cheap though. Wondering how they'd fit on the wife's Vector. Once mounted, were they secure and the problem was with vision?

correct and one friend had a chunk of ice hit one and the glass popped out but the frame work held up he only kept his on cause the stupid holes looked terrible when he took them off but after the glass fell off he took them off and now has a piece of black duckt tape covering the holes on both sides of the sled.blends suprisingly well from a few feet away lol.

Go with Yam handle bar mount mirrors, work great, no holes just bolt on bars.

I use the cat mirrors that fit on the windshield. You have to modify the mirrors so they fit the windshield.

I did the same thing this spring. I hope they do the job, plus they are somewhat protected by the windshield.

I use simple spot mirrors, mounted to a custom made mount that I fabricated out of plastic. "puck board" to be exact I heated and bent the plastic to shape, stuck the mirrors on, and screwed the bracket to the headlight pod, behind the windsheild. They work well enough to tell whos back there. They have to be angled to aim back between your elbow and your knee
