they told us that too, at the yamaha update for 08's. what i didnt get is that the 2smokers all still have 11-12 gallon tanks. i questioned the rep about yamaha making the tank smaller to save a few pounds in the weight war market and he had no comment for me on it. it just doesnt make any sense that the 4 stroke burns so much cleaner and efficient than other brands and yet they have huge tanks still. why would yammaha be the only ones to have to cut there tank gallons back. remember back a couple years when yamaha was advertising their wet weights compared to other brands?
