hello , I just picked up a 2009 nytro xtx and was doing the research on the must do's, I have been trying to go through all the info on how bad the stock skis suck, basically from all my reading any ski is better than stock, what I am wondering for groomed trail aggressive riding, i weight 215 all geared up. do I go with c and a's , slydogs, yamaha tuners, I am stuck on this,I went to the yamaha dealer and they tried to sell me the dual runners for stock skis, but I dont think thats the answer. As the weight is still on the lil footprint of the ski,
i appologize for beating a dead horse to death but trying to figure out what would work tbest

I have 6.9 pilots with 6 inch shapers in the centre and 4" woodys on the outside. This is a very good setup although there is some push in the corners in loose snow. When I get my next set of skis it will be the mtx skis. I wouldn't go with C&A because they tend to have heavy steering. Some people do like them though.

X2 on the 6.9 pilots they are a big improvement from the stock skis. I put the pilots on before the tuners became available. If I where buying today I would try the tuners.

I went from the 6.9's to the MTX skis, huge improvement!

I have a 09 shorty and just got my tuner skis from my dealer no chance to ride them......considering you can get two skis for roughly $150 verses $300 plus for skis mounting hardware etc.... why not try the tuners out ???? have not heard anyone say anything neg about them yet

Split Rails

Work great. Widens ski stance. Turns like a go-cart. Great float in the powder. Kicks up snow onto slides when riding hardpack. Softens stutter bumps. Best upgrade I have ever made. ;)! ;)! ;)!

i have 2011 xtx with yamaha mt-9 ..my cousin has 2013 with tuners.. tuners are much mucgh better then stock and mt-9.. turns much better on and off trail...mt-9 floats great but cant turn at all in powder..
