I am in search for help on some knowledge of the 2009 Yamaha Nytro XTX suspension. My sled is sitting very low... and is all the way "down" with out me on it. I have to lift up the back end to get more travel. is my suspension broken? or just need to be adjusted? see, it's sitting really low in the back end. that's without any pressure or weight on the sled.

take the dolly's off the front so the sled is sitting directly on a flat level surface and have another look.

btw...the nytro does have an inherent suspension sag but I'm pretty sure your problem is the dolly's.
To fix the inherent sag, you can add hygear torsion spacers, x-click adjusters or go to a star suspension.

Does it look like it's sitting abnormally low? or is that about right for a Nytro?btw...the nytro does have an inherent suspension sag but I'm pretty sure your problem is the dolly's.

hard to say from that angle...I'd guess that about a 2" sag is not uncommon.
It's hard to assess when you are on the trail as well due to ice build up.

even boogies all the way around isn't good as the rear suspension won't work right and will collapse.

alright. I'll see tomorrow. maybe it's just the way it sits on bogies. I'll let you know.even boogies all the way around isn't good as the rear suspension won't work right and will collapse.
stook

If the dolly under the track is too far back it will make the suspension sag also

The Hygear Torsion spring spacer is a must on the XTX, and its very inexpensive.

They do tend to sag. Star suspension fixed my problems. Hygear spacers are a good fix too. Keep it greased up well, there are a lot of friction points that aide in the sag. It can work well in stock form, but there is much you can do to make it better! Good luck with your XTX, I'm loving mine!

yours looks very similar to mine! I just put the WRP seat on and can't wait to get some seat time!

I hear that. I added a wrp seat too, not in that avatar pic. Put on the trail tank and will only take along that Doo can when I'm planning long rides in Canada or the UP. That wrp seat feels so much better just sitting on it. It's going to be a good snow season!yours looks very similar to mine! I just put the WRP seat on and can't wait to get some seat time!
