2009 Yamaha handguard

[ROCKRTX]

Could somebody tell me if these will fit on 2006 apex handlebar?

I have done a ton of research and nothing seem to have a nice fit on 2006 bar.Only thing i found is the ROX special braket for apex but i read in a post that they are out of stock and not planing to built anymore.

Also i did not find the 2009 handguard kit on Yamaha website?
Maybe wee will have to wait another year to have them as a kit.

They are different from 08.

The aluminum bracket got 2 bent up and right ( seem to have a better fit )and the guard shape is different and good looking.

Just don't know how it would fit on 06 bar.

I see port Yamaha assemble the kit for 70$ US.

looks like the same ones i have on my 08 phazer. one of the mounts broke the first week of the season. snaped off when i put my cover on. the screws take up 90% of the aluminum pice and and force on it snaps it off at the screw. i used some storts tech hand gaurd brackets. put them in the same position i just riveted them to the L braket the mounts came with.
