All , Had my first night ride a few days ago and when light on high beam light output sucks, can't see crap! It's almost like something is blocking the bulb? Low beam much better? Has anyone else had this issue?

look at the sticky for high low headlight beam....

SJ, What sticky? Am I missing somthing?
Blue

or get the sled start hid kit and be done with it!

Thanks Sj, Got the Sticky now!

1st check the tree tops for high beam then take to dealer to adjust. Dealer did something to mine took a few minutes but both High & Low beams work well on my 2007 Attak GT. He didn't seem to want to tell me what he did worked very well so I'm happy.

he either installed a washer or an O ring...or bent the tabs to rotate the bulb 90 degrees...so the split between the two was side to side vs up and down..

whatever you do...never touch the bulbs glass with your bare hand..the oils in your skin will casue premature failure...if you have already...use some alcohol on a cotton ball...

I just went through this myself. Make sre the pod is inside the two tabs, If your rubber boot around the intake lid is not showing a gap, than you have the tabs correct.

If not, you will have to remove your pod anyway (pod = whole windshield, speedo gauges, the whole assemblu) there is a phillips head screw in the middle of the grey plastic. adjust to your liking. My low beams were also set too high, so I lowered them to where I want them, and the high beams follow suit. This got everything how I wanted.

If you are happy with your low beams height, then the spacing of the bulbs in the reflectors approach is the next step.

Hope that helps ya out. I just adjusted my lights down, and I have functional high beams and my lows are directed about 40' in front of my sled. which is perfect for day riding. and my high beams now are perfect for full time use at night. I just turn off my highs when passing oncoming traffic.
