I don't think anybody has picked up their new 010 MTX SE sled yet but I am wonder if the rear skid will bolt into the 08-09 models? Maybe change the approach angle (good or bad)? Or anything compatible between the old and new suspension (shocks, arms, rails) Just wondering?

This is me just completely guessing but I don't think it will bolt in the same holes. With all the new geometry, shocks, approach angle etc. I would think mounting points also changed. Although the timbersled bolts into stock locations doesn't it?

I am sure somebody with more knowledge will chime in.

I think I am a little early with these questions. I'll bring it back up once people get there new sleds and start modding them.

I wish I knew when they were supposed to start arriving, I'm waiting on two and I've heard Sept. or Oct. deliveries, but I'm hoping for much sooner. I know it doesnt help you much, but when I get mine I can let you know.

Thanks,
Hope you get it soon, keep us updated on delivery time frame. Interesting to see when you get them on the east coast.

you would really need to make up some pretty custom brackets to get the new skid in there. as far as rails, shocks, etc. it's all different. it's alot more work then getting a skid, moving a few holes etc, remember the tunnel is different then on your 08 or 09.

Interesting, because when I was upgrading to XTX shocks from Yamaha, they asked if I wanted to wait to see the fox setup, and I declined. Not sure if that implied I could have used it in my 08 MTX.
