well i did some searching and then some more searching, checked threads. And I can't seem to find the weight of the 2010 Nytro MTX 153. I know the 2009 Nytro MTX weighed 553lbs according to their site.
Yamaha even states "You could summarize all of the changes and direction for the FX Nytro MTX SE in two words-- "WEIGHT REDUCTION"".
Can someone out there weigh their 2010 MTX? I'd really like to know the weight, or point me in the right direction to find the weight, i've asked salesmen and they even say its hard to find, without actually doing it yourself.
So far i got 553lbs(last years) -4lbs removed sway bars -3lbs removed 4 wheels - ??lbs removed coupling box = 546lbs????
Any help would be well appreciated, thanks in advance, Steve

Not a MTX but close.
I weighed my 2009 XTX 144" w/ all fluids and no fuel. This also included the tool kit and a spare belt, ready to ride w/out fuel basically.
I weighed the sled on a set of digital race car scales. 565lbs.

Found this on Supertraxmag.com
Published Dry Weight: 553 lbs. (reverse)
Wet Weight: 615 lbs. (EST)

But I guess they don't have a clue either since Yamaha gave them last years numbers. Strange.

From what I read about the weight loss compared to last year's MTX (553lbs-21lbs), the MTX SE 153 should be lighter than the XTX. I picked up my MTX SE 153 today, and it felt lighter than my RTX, and I'm after removing 40lbs of weight from the RTX already. It's going to be an awesome season

thanks mach, the best thing about knowing the weight is pulling out the number when someone is harping on me about a Yamaha being like a piano. I straight up say "How much do you think it weighs?" i get answers like 700 or 800lbs. Sure nice to know we are getting close to 75 pounds behind a 2 stroke mountain sled. Thanks guys!
