- 2010 RS Vector LTX GT
I'm new to yamaha and bought a used 2010 rs vector Ltd gt I believe the gearing is 24-39 I am wondering if I can change the top tooth down to 22 without changing the chain and without effecting the reverse?

as long as the chain fits, you should be fine.

According to microfiche online your 2010 Vector LTX GT has 70 L chain with 24/39 gearing, I know my 2008 Vector LTX GT has 70 L chain with 22/39 gearing.
