Anyone with the new 2011 Apex XTX that has switched the skis to the 2010 skis with Extreme Snowtrackers.

Do you need the rubber piece for the 2010 skis or will the 2011 one work?

Thank you.

2010 rubber will definitley not work, the spindle protudes into the rubber. Don't know if you can use the 2011 rubber as is or not.

I ran my 06 Attak skis for 2 trips. Just use the 11 ski rubber. Had 'em laying in the garage with brand new 8" triplepoints and the spiffy Billet handles so I threw them on!!

How did you like them vs the 2011 ski's?

Well, I only rode mine with the new skis and stocl POS carbides. It turned OK, but not how I'd like it. I just installed my OLD C@A Pro XT's on it yesterday. 7.25 wide with a flat keel and 8" Triplepoints. Had them on my stretched Viper and they were awesome. SUPER aggresive so with EPS they should be OK LOL!!

I have extreme snow trackers on a 128 Apex and was going to try the 2010 skiis with extreme snow trackers from my wifes vector. But the issue was corner exit. I set the transfer down to almost minimum
and now it is as good as my 2006 apex gt with snow trackers. Big difference in the mono shock 1 and 2 suspensions. Mono shock 2 is more sensitive.
