hi everyone,
on the ride this weekend, my Venture (11,400 km) started getting louder and louder as we went along. I thought maybe the donuts were going, but they'd be done at 8,000 km. It finally got so loud that I called for a pick up. Didn't want to risk any engine damage. The picture shows the damage. Has this happened to anyone?

hmm 1st one i have seen.
check what is in the link i posted as that could have contributed as well. my old rx had the pipe mounts do that.

Snapped my warrioir exhaust same idea at the middles figure eight shaped area. Holding on by a hair...had 14k on the old girl and it sounded mean as hell.

My buddy's 06 Rage broke in the exact same spot. Bought a used pipe and installed it and new donuts at the same time.

Was going to weld but my welder said waste of time. Wpuld break again as its extreme heat. I too bought used pipes.

thanks maim for the link. I found it earlier as I was searching for cracked exhaust issues. The missing piece is on the trail somewhere so welding is not a good option for me either. It sounded like a hot rod for the last few miles!

If you search for a used one make sure it is from a FI motor. The carb motor headers look identical, but the overall lengths are different. I have one FI header in stock.
