When changing oil, what pressure screw are you talking about, on what machine & where is it located.

its the 3cylinder 1000 in a venture 2010 there is a breather cap on top of engine and almost directly in front of it where engine stars slopping to the front is where pressure bolt is located. shop manual says to fill reservoir tank loosen bolt start engine and when oil starts dripping around bolt you know that oil has pumped in to engine side then stop engine and top up res to dip stick requirements

I never do that.. and have never had a problem. But thats me.

Thank's for the information. I have owned 4 new Vectors & never done that procedure that you did. I have never had a problem with just draining & refilling. I am sure that the manual says this but not necessary.

ok so i i have power going thru solenoid going to starter meaning there is something wrong with starter, has anyone replaced or fixed a starter , is it a pain
any help would be appreciated.

Starter on the triple motors are a pain the butt.. I believe the starter is on the back side of that motor.

yes the manual shows it on the back just below where the exhaust pipes come out hope that makes it easier.
im just sourcing out some parts hope its not a pain to do.

You may have to pull the motor. I dont believe there is enough room under the flex pipes or thru the access to make that change.

oh crap i dont know where to find someone who has done this job. i dont want to send it to dealer

try pm'ing grizztracks for some tips on how to do it.

Im having that same problem...starter failed i think...Did you get your replaced and how much $$$$

just found a guy locally who is willing to do it he figures it will be roughly 500.00 all in with trying to rebuild starter.
i called three other guys first and they wanted nothing to do with it. ill let you know when i get it back what the actual damage is.
