have been changing my oil and filter for years no problem.but this time i drained oil from tank and engine
replaced drain screws put 2 quarts amsoil in reservoir loosened pressure screw on engine started and after 30 seconds noticed no oil coming from pressure screw then shut it down checked all hoses and lines no leaks turned cluch by hand no probs tried it again low oil light came on so i put more oil in tank turned key nothing but solenoid click, no codes no oil light just click battery brand new 12.6 volts changed it before oil change.
help please someone.

Try jumping the solenoid that goes to the starter. Maybe that took a dump..

When changing oil, what pressure screw are you talking about, on what machine & where is it located.

its the 3cylinder 1000 in a venture 2010 there is a breather cap on top of engine and almost directly in front of it where engine stars slopping to the front is where pressure bolt is located. shop manual says to fill reservoir tank loosen bolt start engine and when oil starts dripping around bolt you know that oil has pumped in to engine side then stop engine and top up res to dip stick requirements

I never do that.. and have never had a problem. But thats me.

Thank's for the information. I have owned 4 new Vectors & never done that procedure that you did. I have never had a problem with just draining & refilling. I am sure that the manual says this but not necessary.

ok so i i have power going thru solenoid going to starter meaning there is something wrong with starter, has anyone replaced or fixed a starter , is it a pain

Starter on the triple motors are a pain the butt.. I believe the starter is on the back side of that motor.

yes the manual shows it on the back just below where the exhaust pipes come out hope that makes it easier.
im just sourcing out some parts hope its not a pain to do.

You may have to pull the motor. I dont believe there is enough room under the flex pipes or thru the access to make that change.

just found a guy locally who is willing to do it he figures it will be roughly 500.00 all in with trying to rebuild starter.Im having that same problem...starter failed i think...Did you get your replaced and how much $$$$
i called three other guys first and they wanted nothing to do with it. ill let you know when i get it back what the actual damage is.
