Anyone have the OEM part number and will they fit on the '08 RTX?

I seen the part number about 2-3 weeks ago somewhere in this section. I will keep looking!

curious as to why you would want it. I have no idea what they cost, but why don't you just buy the avid drivers.
No biggie to me, just wondering

Just a guess, but thinking you hit the nail on the head - cost. The Avid drivers aren't exactly cheap when compared to what Doo was getting for them. Be interesting to see how Yammi's price lines up... not to mention what their design looks like?

Exactly - want to compare cost, design, and how they are manufactured (machined vs molded). Like always, I like to find the best and most cost effective option.
The drivers will be designed just like all other Yamaha extrovert drivers.
Check out the drivers from the MTX models, if you want a clue of what they will look like.

Am I counting wrong or are those 7 tooth drivers? On a LTX?
I think that is the new Apex MTX Drive shaft and drivers. The APEX MTX has a forged drive shaft this year.

what does it cost for all 4 pieces from yami?
really 6 of one half dozen of the other, as the avids drive off the same number of lugs, just the ones on either side of the window instead of the inside ones. I am sure the yami ones will work just fine, but the avid ones have been proven on many high horspower sleds to be pretty reliable. Depends on what the cost difference is, but I know what decision i made (avids for me)

Only need the 2 outer sprockets; approx. $50-60 ea. Same set up as the mountain sleds.

The MTX, at least the Nytro MTX, has a Maverick track with a 3" pitch (vs. a 2.52" pitch on the RTX). So, this wouldn't be a simple change.
I've got my Nytro decomposed into its constituent parts right now and was planning to install Avid's 9T Extroverts. Maybe we can get a better deal on buying 4. Interested?

I ahould have said "similar" to the mountain sleds. The Vector/Nytro would be the 2.52 pitch; just haven't been able to find the part number for that one yet.
Yes, I would be interested if we can get a better deal; I plan on going to 136" track so I may as well add them while I have it apart.

Here's the part number for the 2010 Vector/Apex Extro style drivers 8JA-47532-00-00 and they retail for $76.16 each however if your thinking of putting these on your Nytro's I don't think they will work. In 09 Yamaha changed the axle diameter on the Vector/Apex based sleds from 27mm (08) to 30mm (09). So that part number above will be to fit a 30mm axle and your Nytro's have a 27mm axle. There will be extrovert drivers coming on the 2010 Nytro SE model and I believe these will work on your sleds but there is no part number out for them yet and I don't know for sure that the axle diameter hasn't changed on that model either. I will try to update this if/when I get more info.

Port - thanks for the info. Amazing the dealers don't have part numbers yet. At that price point, not much different than the Avid. Keep us posted.
