Just wondering if anyone had to change their exhaust donuts on their 2011 or newer Apex yet. I was also wondering if with the somewhat different exhaust on the newer Apex, the donuts were lasting longer. I could only get about 4,000 miles on my other RX-1's and Apex's before I had to change them. Does anyone have over 5,000 miles yet on a 2011 or newer Apex with no donut issues yet? thanks
Believe the 2011 and up have new style donuts and clamp bolts. Guess the new bolt allows for a greater torque. Gotta think they will hold up better than the earlier crap. Since they are using S/S pipes again that's also going to help with the cracking issues.

ok people that post and say i have no problems have you actually taken them out and looked? I exhaust tested last wknd and stall in less than a second so they would seem fine but without visually inspecting i cant say for sure till spring

The 2011 and up use the same donut as the Phazer, not sure if the clamp and hardware are the same (as the Phazer) but I would suspect they are.

Not sure what shape there in, but the sled still sounds like new .. I had a set go on my 07 in 2800 miles. Good shape or not They are a big improvement over the old style.

I figure that the donuts last longer due the short run of pipes from the donuts to the EXUP box on the tunnel. This results in a sturdier setup/mount and less likely to vibrate loose.

This is the reason I bought the 5 year warranty. The last 07 attak I had exhaust donuts were a $800 bill
