Just turned 5,000 mi on my 11 apex xtx and wondering if i should replace the exhaust donuts ... Or on the 11s and up yamaha fixed that problem and they last longer ?... Any feed back from owners of the 2011s and newer apexs would be greatly apreciated....

you can tell that way or when they are slightly gone you have hear it underneath the tunnel. Pretty loud knocking, ticking, hard to explain it. Ill find out when the snows gone

9,000 k on my 2011 and still okay, probably changed them out after this season.
Quebec rider posted problems in the 15,000k range I believe, just going to keep and eye on them and hopefully make it through this season. I have a new set of donuts sittin on the bench if and when I should need them.
