Here is some pictures of the 2011 Apex Power Commander V install.
1. You will remove the center hood and side panels by unclasping the 1/4 turn dsuz fasteners (2 on the center hood, 3 on each side panel).
2. With the side panels removed it's now time to remove the center "dash" panel (between the handlebars and the gauge cluster). First you will want to remove the two phillips screws holding the chrome handlebar ring to the handlebars and slowly slide the ring forward and up out of the way. Next you remove the dash panel by loosening the four 5mm dsuz fastners. Lift it up slightly and unplug the key plug-in and also the 12v accessory plug-in.

3. Now you will want to unplug the speedo & headlight harness.

4. With the speedo & headlight harness unplugged now we can remove the headlight assembly by unbolting the four bolts (2 on each side) that hold the headlight bracket to the frame (10mm socket).

Also note on the clutch side of the sled there is a zip tie on the back side of the headlight bracket holding the wire harness to the frame and also on the front of the headlight bracket there is a "J" hook holding the wire harness as well. You will have to undo both of these to remove the headlight bracket from the frame.

On the chaincase side of the snowmobile you will also have to undo a clamp that holds the brake line to the headlight bracket (sorry I did not get a picture of this).
5. With the headlight removed we can now start the installation of the actual Power Commander. I like to start with cylinder #4 (closest to the oil tank). You will simply grab the top of the injector connector and push the locking tab to "unlock" the connector from the injector. With that removed you will push the female portion of the Power Commander V into the injector connector and the male portion down onto the injector. Follow the Power Commander harness and do the same steps for cylinders 3, 2, and 1. Follow the Power Commander wire harness from left to right and make sure that they are plugged in in the correct order.

6. Last you will unplug the TPS sensor and plug the white Power Commander V connector into the OEM wire harness connector and the black Power Commander V connector into the TPS sensor.

Now you can reinstall the headlight bracket back onto the chassis following the removal order steps in reverse. Check the Power Commander V harness to make sure that it will not be pinched or rubbed anywhere on the harness as well. With the headlight installed onto the chassis again you will want to hook the ground wire for the Power Commander V to one of the headlight bracket bolts.
NOTE: In this photo I also have the Autotune Module installed as well.

For those of you wanting to install an Autotune module we have those available as well. The Autotune is NOT required to run the Power Commander V. Here are a few pictures showing that also.
