Thanks for an honest answer, I was thinking no gains would be accurate but wanted to hear it first hand. I hate to think about the money I spent over the years to go no better than stock. I guess if money was to be spent on the apex its better spent on handling and comfort.

Another thing we could try is to bring a stocker to one the TY Rides and I will being my non stockers with PCV and clutching and see how goo it runs...I can even bring the radar gun to verify the speeds.

Sounds like a Great idea Tom, if I am at one of the rides this year, I will have one or both of my 2011 XTX's with me. We could give a whirl Only down side to this is that it would probabally cost me, since I would go home and buy 2 of the Power Commanders!

You might have some luck or understanding going over to the Yamaha R1 sportbike motorcycle forums as the Apex is essentially or IS the R1 engine.

What you guys have for a map? I have an 2008 Apex 40th and have mod air box and mbrp exhaust. Mileage is down a bit. I did find one map out there but wondering if any of you could share yours. PCV is what I have hooked up. Thanks, do the snow dance!
