2011 Apex studs?

I just picked up a mint 2011 Apex standard with only 1050 miles on it. Was thinking about studding it but I have been reading all the posts on here about clearance issues. My question is if I run the studs on the outside edge in the middle of the track keeping them completley out of the center will they still hit? Or do I still have to modify the protectors? 1.325 studs?

I've got the XTX but no problems with that size stud on these. i'm going to a 1.45" stud on my new track and i don't believe i'll have any issues.

I would modify. It is really not that big a deal. Then your sure no matter what. I have 1.325 144 down middle.

Thank you. I will be doing that in the off season. I have put 350 miles on so far and she does spin. Need some more hook up.

I run a 2013 xtx with 172, 1.375" woodys gold diggers. Keep an inch away from the edge of your windows and keep and inch clear in the center, keep your track tight to spec and you'll be fine.
