2011 Apex XTX - how bad is the slider wear??

So now that you guys have had a few "good" weekends of riding - how bad is the XTX slider wear?? Saw lots of early posts about the problems - were they problems with the XTX or just really really poor snow conditions? Thought Yamaha would have had the 144" figured out given prior experience with the Nytro. Anyone running extra wheels for added support??

Thinking of the XTX but worry about this issue - any help would be appreciated.

Had 400 miles in good snow & had allmost zero wear. 1 day at -25 on hard groomed trails went to the wear line in 20 miles & have stayed there since.

I meet a guy last night that had the new XTX he said he replaced the slides 5 times already and the wheels 3 times. We do not have much snow around hear but wow. Hey I'm a big fan of Yam but this is not funny at all.

I replaced my first set at 560 miles and was just about worn through, 2088 miles now and in need of the next set. The track from the dealer was way too tight, wear has been better now with looser track and better snow conditions, not a real problem IMO.
