I have 2800 miles on my 2011 xtx and blew the rear shock already. Oil pissing out of the shaft. Anyone else had this happen this soon? It's the very rear one.

There's some rust on the shaft which apparently caused the failure. Hopefully my buddy can find a new shaft for it otherwise I guess I'm gonna have to bend over for a new one from Yamaha

Shocks
3200 miles on mine and no shock issues.
Why not send it to Pionner or Hygear for repair? Rust on the shaft is not normal. Must have gotten road salt or something on it.
