2012 AK sled build

Finally broke down and ordered a metal lathe today. I won’t have a lot of progress pics until it shows up, but then I can start making the pieces for the a-arm jig and frame jig. Can’t wait to be able to make my own bushings, rod end adapters, tube adapters, bearing holders, ect

The used lathe market is non existent in Alaska and I’m on a very limited budget so I ended up with a HiTorque 7 x 16 mini lathe from Little Machine Shop in California. Bigger would have been nice but it’s better then the bandsaw and hand files I’ve been using for years.

Since the only thing from a Nytro will be the motor, I’m going to start a new build thread in the sled garage forum. No sense in keeping this one going anymore.
