Does anyone know the weight of the 2012 apex se AND the new viper? looking at the new Viper and trying to toss around the power to weight ratio and if the 2014 viper would be close in a drag race or top end power ? couple guys with skidoo 800 e tecs are planning on jumping ship to the new viper.

Don't know the Viper but my manual for my 2011 Apex SE said 681 lbs wet if I remember correctly.
Power to weight matters but getting the power to the ground matters the most.
My 2011 SE had no issues with 2011 E-Tecs in the drag department. I always won once the Apex was broken in. I am sure I gave them an easy 100 lb advantage with supposedly both sleds in the 151 to 153 hp range. [All were stock] Go figure.
