1st Yamaha sled......lets do this!!

I rode all the new yamahas at the demo ride when they first came out. I didn't really care for the se. The handling has been much improved over older models like mine. In fact it felt like riding my sled with all my mods done. They are a bit heavier than a xp doo. But, it won't fold in half, after your first ride, it will sit on your garage floor straight. And it won't have a melt down in the very near future. Your going to love the torque on the apex. After owning mine it's hard to climb on a twin big bore 2 smoke and think its fast. The pull just isn't there. I just hope we get good snow this year. I never rode last year here in NY do to no snow. ( I refuse to ruin my sled riding in mud).

Congrats on the new sled. Lome my 2011. And you should head to Quebec, always good snow and super sled friendly environment. Got screwed with little snow in VT last year too.

My SE is the best riding, most comfortable, fastest railing sled I've had. If you were looking for a great trail machine, you got it. All I added was tuner skis by Yamaha and it really allowed the sled to corner with precision. 119mph on gps isn't too shabby, either.

Enjoy!

I need some quick come backs for all the "you bought an Apex?.....man those these are tanks" comments.....lol. That is the 1st thing people say (unless they own one).

Guess I'll just wait till it snows and show em how heavy it is when I wizz past them......LOL.

We don't lift 'em, we ride 'em.
Care to challenge my tank?
Yep, it's heavy, but so is my Corvette.

"Just think... since you'll be behind me you wont be breathing second hand smoke"
"I know mine will be running tomorrow"

I own a Polaris as well but this might come in handy for your Polaris lovin fans?

Polaris= Pull off lake and rebuild in Summer

I truely belive all manufacturers make good sleds (and some not so good). I just get tired of hearing, Oh man those are heavy!

I dont need any help with come backs for the new Cat sleds.......there are plenty of "cons" on those....LOL. They (Cats) do look sexy though!

My buddy bought a new xp rev in 2010. The very first ride he went on with me, he says " you got a tow rope? " I said no. Why? I don't need one. He says "yeah well I might, it's brand new. " there are two things I never worry about with my apex. 1) breaking down 2) passing a gas station
