Well we ended our asphalt season with a great weekend at the Amsnow shoot out held at US131 dragstrip in Martin MI, and what a great way to end! Weather was a fight all weekend with cold and rain. Friday was a test and tune day which was one of the highlights of my weekend getting the sled down to a 8.23 @ 157.96 with Brian our light driver on it.
Ernie won the 9.0 on sunday bringing home $2000 - congrats buddy!!

Got the asphalt sled back together a couple weeks ago, built a new motor with rods and hurricane's head porting and after a couple of weeks of struggling and a trip to the dyno to figure some things out - we finally got some good runs in this weekend. Ran a 8.05 @ 158.92.

Figured I'd bring this to the top again, been out racing my sled again this summer on the asphalt and got it going a bit quicker. My previous personal best on my sled was 8.48@156, and this past weekend I ran multiple 8.3 runs with the best being 8.34@155.27 with a 1.38 60'. Have to work on the 60's still but pretty happy with the times!
