What aftermarket stuff can I do to sled that would be a improvement and where to get the stuff from.

You can take the tunnel protectors out if you don't run studs, saves 4 pounds, you can go to a rare earth battery, save 6 pounds, sly dog skies are a few pounds lighter. The problem is Yamaha already lighten a lot of stuff from the 2010 and then added 28 pounds for EPS which brings the weight close to the 2010 and older. The new suspension on the 2016 is claimed to be 10 pounds lighter, and will probably be right up there with r-motion. other then these ideas don't know were to look.

Trade it in.

This sled will never be light. Its a waste of money even trying.

Was just wondering I will never get rid of it was just wondering

slim fast . he he . i sure need it

actually, the sled is heavy, but after trying a 2015 (had a 2007 and 2009 before) it sure doesn't handle like its heavy anymore.. so unless you want to go off trail, let it be, ...i mean , you got boss seat : 10 pounds, remove adjustable monoshock put in Fox: 10 lbs, then Carbon A-arms: 10 pounds, battery, etc.. anyway, you might get 40 lbs off, but will still be the same handling, so i figure get better shocks if you want better ride, or other sled if you want off trail capacity..

I mainly ride trails I have heard many horror stories of barb wires. You are taking a risk in my eyes not worth it for my family to lose there dad.

Will do thanks is there anyway to live tune sled for performance and fuel economy
