The leak is out that there is more to come after Cats release. I strongly believe it will be the Apex motor in the Nytro chassis. There are no SE models for the flat landers or in the mountain section. If you look at the new design seat( to fit the EXUP ) for the nytros and addition of 8 tooth drivers to support the extra HP. Yamaha has done motor chassis swaps year after year. Accually, for as long as they have produced sleds. look back at the previous years models and progression. Same chassis and different motor through the ages. This is my best guess, but Sno west has confirmed, it ain't over yet. I hope you all have your doo's spring checked by this release date too, Bob Downer, Nay SAyers. ;)! Scott[

The Nypex does exist... the ex-sales manager (hmmmm...) at a near by dealer told me about it last year, went so far as to say he sat on it at the dealer show.... thought for sure it was going to be last years big news.

same thing different year I'm not gonna hold my breath. Always hear I know someone that is in the Yamaha circle but nothing comes of it. I trust my dealer who has always been as up front as possible let me know about a bit more HP and another goodie that would make the apex feel alot lighter and was right on don't get me wrong I HOPE to see something really hot from Yamaha but I just don't see it. Just like the rumors for the past several years on a turbo or SC Apex won't happen the stocker is already better than the 800s and close to the turbo cat so really not expecting anything really bold and a surprise

Turbo guys will be waiting a while i think. I'm sure that Apex has plenty left whenever they feel they need to tap into it. It's a 1000+cc 4 stroke! It has tons of potential and still have longevity.

A Nypex wouldn't interest me too much but it would be a cool sled never the less. Now 100-110 hp in a light weight XC sled to fill the hole between the nytro and the phazer, my kinda sled. ;)!

So everybody would jump on one? Because it has a different models engine in it? Crap skid, skis, heavy, etc are what YOU GUYS are complaining about, but if they swap motors, life is good?
