AGREED! My dad and I absolutely hated his Attak, especially when he switched to a Nytro. It doesn't matter how you ride...if you take a little time and money to set it up right, the only thing an Apex has over a Nytro is fuel tank size, wind protection, and a better sounding engine. The riding position of the Nytro is 1000000x better than the Apex, suspension is too, as well as fun factor. Believe it or not we couldn't figure out how to get rid of the darting on my dad's Attak. It had slydogs, Bergstroms w/ shims/ski savers, and the half iron pipe trick under the ski, and it still darted worse than the Nytro!berge75 said:dirkdiggler said:MCApex44 said:X2...My nytro turns just fine. IMO, when it comes to complaints about handling/cornering on the the Fx Nytro there are two things to consider...you guys either dont have it set-up right or you are not riding it right.
I owned one so i can say this "it sucks in the corner's. I'm a different rider on an apex or a vector. the Nytro is good for one thing BUMPS and ditch banging.
Dirk, I have both the apex and a nytro xtx, and the xtx properly set up will run circles around the apex when woods banging. I would be willing to bet $100 on it. The xtx will require more body english, but will stick to the corners where the apex will not. The nytro took a little time to set up but will reward you with great striaght line handling, jams through the big moguls way better, better milage, and damn near as fast with exhaust. I have a choice to ride one or the other, and I always go with the xtx, funnest sled I have ever owned.

So back to topic, I dont think Yammie coming down with anything near a 4 cyl 4 stroke in the Nytro chassie. I think they presented their news to the world for 2012.
Off topic:
About bashing bluehairs with my bias Cat talk... just for fun nothing serious.
I have friends with Nytro XTX or Yammie Apex Turbo and they are very happy with their machines. So when you talking about Nytro VS Apex keep in mind that everyone does not ride the way that YOU do.
So the answer to Nytro vs Apex could be... a Matter of opinion. I'm not so sure that a Nytro wins against an Apex if there challenge is on groomed trail with slow bends and a ride for many hours or if you have the a back track race out in the forrest after a day of riding. Seems that the Nytro guys getting very tired after a couple of hours active riding.
The ride forward is not the ultimate position for all purposes. Some time it is a gain and some times its not.

Of course it has with the way you ride: As an example I can take the Summit, RMK Pro and M8, completely different style of driving for the same purpose. Some likes the Doo, some the Poo and I like Cat... Not as easy to do a bulldog but much more stable in its appearance in sidehilling.
I have tried the XTX and I dont like it around trees. You must be completly active with it or you are under a tree. Do that make it a fact that its a bad machine. Nope I just dont like the appearance of a the way it some times loses its direction and go down on its skiis and taking a route of its own. Then I'm in panic mode, dont like that at all.
At the same note many ppl in my surronding choose the Nytro and for whatever reason they must like it. If they like it or thrust it or whatever... it must be the machine for them... I leave it with that... The same with the Apex, if Diggy feels more safe on an Apex he does.
If fast cornering is the most important thing in the world for you guys you are sitting on the wrong machine... Dont see to many pro's on a Nytro in Pro Stock or Pro open... Why? Wrong setup?
So, Nytro or Apex... choose the one who feels right for just you. But it is always a matter of how you drive.
