Aside from the obvious I am trying to find out exactly what differences there are between the short track Vector and the LTX suspensions.
I went through both parts fisch and as near as I can tell, the rails are different, the rear arm (Arm, Pivot 2 and the shaft that goes through it), the shock absorbers, and the LTX has a couple extra parts the short track does not.
I believe the difference in the rear arm and shaft is to account for a set of idler wheels on the short track version.
From what I can tell, the mounting points are exactly the same for the main pivot arms on the short track and LTX versions.
If any members would be so kind as to take a photo or two of their suspension (preferably removed from the sled) I would really appreciate it.
I am only looking looking for differences in the monoshock II non RA style, short track and LTX.
Unless Yamaha releases what I am looking for on the 2nd, I am pretty committed to building a vector XTX. I want a 144" track with a little better approach angle than any of their sleds currently come with. I am either looking at buying a new LTX and doing a tunnel extension and setback or potentially buying a regular vector, doing a 121"-136" rail extension with tipped up rails, a setback to reach the 144" and a tunnel extension.
Thanks in advance.
