So I'm up in UP Yooper Michigan and my battery is dead. What's your advise? I keep my sled in heater 55 degree F under garage and it started fine all winter on trips thru yard and pond. I loaded it on my trailer headed to UP and battery is dead at 5 degrees F. I do have HID light by Sled Start and when I parked it in trailer shut off lights were off. So is this may battery or some weird drain on it or just a battery that died. I never put a batt tender on it. So bad battery or weird drain somewhere? Seek advice b4 I sled in UP on Monday.

You sure its the battery and not the relay near the battery having issues?

Most people find the first time their batteries are subject to cold if they're good or not. My guess is battery. Try a boost and if it fires off you go for a new one.

Thanks Mr. Sled & Canoehead, It was the battery. It lived a spoiled life in my heated garage and did not like the great cold outdoors.
