Guys,
I have a 2013 Nytro with ~500 miles and the Right Hand Warmer not working at all.
Where should I start to fix this problem?
electrical, fuse or heater element? You would think since the Nytro's have been out sine 2008 the bugs would be worked out by now! I froze my right hand all week.

95% of the time it's easier for me to fix it myself vs trailering it to the dealer and picking it up again.
Are the 2 handlebar warmers on separate circuits? I assumed they were on the same circuit since they are activated by one switch.

If you have an ohm meter you can unplug the hand warmers and probe the wires in the connector to see how many ohms you have. I think it should be about 6 ohms if it has a complete closed circuit which is a good reading. If it is an open circuit it will be an infinite reading or a super high reading like 100000 ohms or something super high. That means the wire is busted somewhere and you need a new heater element.
If they both test good around 6 ohms then your problem is somewhere else.

Unless it ends up being an unplugged grip connector the only way to get it repaired for free is to bring it to the dealer.

I personally wouldn't do any repairs myself that warranty will cover for free on anything I purchase, especially on something I paid thousands for. It would be like buying a new BMW and doing your own oil changes even though they cover all maint. for 4 years. But, hey, to each his own.
good luck finding either a left OR right replacement element. I had to order a complete set from the acc. catalog to get mine in working order for next weekend.
i can split mine with you...I need the left only so I will have the right available if you need one sooner than later.
Dealer said it will be in on Monday the 18th.
PM me if you want.
