Has anybody heard anything about the 2013 Phazers?

Maybe they'll come with their own snow to ride on?

My guess is either NO phazer or nothing done to it.
It is already 6-7 years old but really who knows. Yammi keeps a tight lid on things as we all know

I just picked up a 07 Phazer MTX and got some Fox 2 shocks up front and rear and I got to say for a 4 banger it's good fun and looks good..
To follow trend they could just black the tunnel out and do some graphix and be done with it..
Would be fun if they did more but it's a good quality sled so I don't really se why they would bother?

Phazer is do for an update, A true 500 class engine + tweaked front suspension ( 1" lower with a bit more caster/camber) and it would be a great sled. By 500 class sled I mean 100-110hp. I REALLY hope they don't dump the Phazer chassis and just release a lower HP revamped Nytro to cover the 100-110 range as the phazer is a better chassis in terms of handling, especially OFF trail. They already have an "easy to build" 700 twin design. 2/3 of a Nytro engine with a few tweaks could put out 100hp and ELIMINATE the gear reduction. It would also be right in the range to compete with the rumored skidoo "Bigger Ace" or "Turbo Ace 600" that coming down the pipeline.

Hmmm.. dont think gear reduction will be gone anytime soon.
If they can get a clutch to hold up at 12,000rpm, what about a belt that can?
Phazer has LOTS of potential agreed. If Yammi would adopt ZX2 skids and tighten up the steering, WOW that would be a huge improvement. Power will come with time.
Power increases on the rx1-attak-apex were slight and took years.
WHO KNOWS!!!!
(edit - blue I see what you mean, using a lower revving motor like Nytro, but I like seeing 11,500 on the tach! Its technically impressive!)

the more I looked into doing a 700cc 2/3 Nytro the less I like the Idea. Currently It would be 138hp x 2/3 = 92hp 90tq x 2/3 = 60tq which is only a gain of 12hp/3tq over the Phazer engine (at the clutch) It wouldn't feel ANY stronger out of the hole but it would pull away from the current phazer past 60mph and run a good 5mph faster.
Now a Phazer 750cc Triple, 120hp 85tq but it wouldn't fit the phazer chassis and IMO is too close to Vector/nytro engine powerwise. I think a Fresh design big twin is needed. A 900 based on a pair of 450f's would crank out an easy 105hp 70tq, fit the phazer, NO gear reduction needed, and sit squarely in the middle of the 50+ hp gap of the line up. Also compete nicely with the "rumored" 900ace.

Its so weid that I fell on this subject today.
I dreamt all night about the return of the SnowScoot. I was test driving one at my dealer and it had a turboed 400cc engine that lifted the skis every time I punched the throttle.
I'll keep dreaming for now.

To follow trend they could just black the tunnel out and do some graphix and be done with it..
Would be fun if they did more but it's a good quality sled so I don't really se why they would bother?
It's a twin, not a 4 cylinder.

I think by "4 banger" he actually meant 4 stroke. Just sayin.

Or call it a 4stroke 1-Banger 2 cylinder

That's more accurate.
