You can do RSI grips or just get factory replacements. I know the RSI will heat better.

X2 ... Just get the RSI kit. Wire it in parallel for the lowest resistance possible. You will have way more heat that stock. Work great.

I did the rsi kit last winter and was very happy with them. They certainly do hear better and the rai grips are much heavier then the Yamaha ones. They aren't any more money either so no real downside.
