I have the same noise on my 2011. It's just a normal noise for the ventures.

I have the same, for me it gets more with slider wear and tight track. Drives me CRAZY when the group I'm with drives right at that speed
I would love to hear of a FIX.
I have been told it is the wheels over the track rods and goes away with no wheels or new slides
My 2 cents

Those ripsaw tracks howl like hell. Last year I finally broke down and spent 10 bucks on a bag of foam ear plugs. I can't tell you how much more enjoyable riding is now. Its amazing how less fatiguing it is to ride without the noise. Given that the engine is really quiet and even if you could reduce the track howl, the wind noise alone is probably enough to warrant hearing protection.

my 09 venture Gt had a howl too , put a ice ripper pre studded on it at 20,000 ks and no difference , its born into the sled i guess
Thanks for the replies...ear plugs or live with it...too many choices

Sure sound isolating ear buds and an iPod. Once my son convinced me to try I will never go back. I like the engine sound, but eventually like my tunes better. I can always turn off iPod and use ear buds as ear plugs. When using sound isolating ear buds I hear no wind noise or engine noise while listening to music.
