2014 viper ltx se
Pulled the trigger today on a leftover 14 viper ltx se. That's the 137" track.
I will be running 96 studs up center and dual carbides. Any recalls I should ask dealer to perform before I pick up? Any help appreciated, thanks.

Coming from a 2011 nytro Rtx and previous apex. Bring on winter!

Just like any new sled , go over it to make sure everything is good then ride the #*$&@ out of it !!!!

Reverse update should be completed, that was an early 2014 detent upgrade. You might also like to checkout the first 5-6 posts especially the tech bulletin "how to" on the reverse update and the last one "Just the Facts" with Cannondale27 as Moderator. Enjoy, think you will like the 96 up the center studs and dual carbide runners up front. I'm using 6" Studboy deuce bars on both LTX sleds and 96 studs each.

Mine had fuel line clamps checked for tightness and reverse actuator. Have them check hose clamps and make sure the chain tension is set correctly. That will need to be done at 300 miles and again at 500.

Just for the heck of it I would do what everyone is saying and I would check the oil.

If you can afford it, do what TestMaster did and get new shocks or prepare for a rough ride. The shocks are stiff and there isn't much you can do about it without a rebuild.

I am coming off a 2002 Yamaha Viper and now have 1300 miles on my 2014 ltxse and all I can say is this is the most comfortable sled I have rode. I am never sore like I usually get except my hands wrists and arms from hanging on so hard from the torque this beast puts out. I soften the center shock up and run between 70 and 85 lbs in the front floats. Cruising over field driveways has never been more fun.
