2015 Apex XTX LE want woodys studs but replace tunnel protection?

Ok first time installing studs want to get woodys but they say I need to replace tunnel protection ??? I looked on the site no explanation looked further and I guess you need to set up stud pattern to manufactured suggestions from owners manual looked there no such mention . My biggest worry is the studs hitting any coolant rail in the tunnel I have a 2015 Apex XTX LE it has (or had) 1/4 inch studs on top of the paddles(pretty much worn down) . Any help appreciated thanks

The protectors should be in there stock. What length track and studs are you looking to install? What did you have in there to start with?
