Who cares about these Polaris's .
I love my Yamaha that keeps going ,not this cheap sled that wont..sorry but its true..
Have yet to see one with the original owner at lets say 3000+mi on the original engine...

Even the"problematic" 800 polaris sleds go better than 4k before having issues. The main root of issues seems to be oil tank not properly venting, and not allowing enough oil to the pump. The 600s are solid.

Lots of bad info on the internet, but some good info too. ;)!
Give me one and I'm sure to blow it up in 2000 mi ! I will wring its neck

If I were my neighbors age of 65+ not so much..

I think you'd be surprised that you would not have an issue, even wringing it all out.

I am really intrigued by the AXYS, can't wait to see it. I have always had good luck with Polaris, just sold my 06 Fusion 700 this winter with 4100 miles on it. If Polaris had a decent 4 stroke I would have bought one this season, loving the Viper though. I have rode a couple of my buddies Switchback with the Rush rear suspension and I think they ride better than anything out there but the handling kinda sucked which is really odd for a Poo. Was probably just set up am guessing. Excited to see what it is, should be in the market again in 4-5 years.

3rd video is now up on Polaris' site. They mention it has LED headlights.

I would like to try riding a switchback or a Rush Pro-R. I've heard the same comments you're making from other guys too. One is member here, and he said it's super plush, but has a lot of ski lift in the corners. So not too far off from what you're saying, which makes me think it might not be just set up. Don't want to form an opinion about something I've never tried though, so will reserve judgement until I get to ride one.

As far as Polaris making a decent 4 stroke, Have you ever ridden the IQ 750 Turbo? The sled is about as heavy as an Apex and it's a 2-up, but will hit tripple digits on hardpack. Used to have some issues with heat, but Polaris seems to have improved on the cooling and the newer models seem bulletproof. The fuel mapping is set for about 140 hp, but also has a 4-second overboost map at WOT from idle that brings the power up to 160, so it takes off like a rocket. An underrated sled for a 2-up if ever there was one. ;)!

Not all IQ 750s are 2 ups. I have heard they are sleepers and have some legs on them.

I have riden a 800 pro r switchback. It's awesome but no thanks on the 2 strokes.

I've rode 2 OVR4D and both had allot of body roll, feel very high in the saddle. The FST never went over very well for Polaris but I had high hopes for it, personally wish they would have stuck with it I heard they were fast as hell. I doubt I will own a 2 stroke again personally, that's why I stuck my neck out and bought a new Viper.

My next sled might be an indy 600. I swore I'd never buy a 2 stroke again but the price of this sled can't be beat. Vipers and 1200 4tecs are running for $4gs more in my area.

Rumor is that AXYS is a GPS system that corresponds with the Polaris trail APP. Polaris will offer a matching helmet for each sled that will have built in speakers and microphone. IE punch in your destination and the GPS tells you where to turn at each junction. Rumor is it will also be bluetooth compatible.

Also heard the new 800 has revised pistons and reeds for 8 more HP, better fuel mileage, and the rush is 38 LBS lighter.

This is the latest over on HCS. I guess we will see on Sunday.

this needs to happen now!

My riding buddy has an 11' 800 assault, almost 6k on the ticker, motor never opened, he uses legends oil, his sled has almost zero smell or smoke..he takes good care of it, but rides it pretty hard..I like his sled, in powder the thing gets up on plane at like 10mph, I'm still snow plowing till like 25..lol..i saw some pics on hcs of the axys..its a cleaned up rush pretty much.. Looked nice..

Guy I work with just blew up his 12 switchback pro r 800. Barely 1000 miles on it. Not sure how he rides it but I would assume he babies it.
