I was going to say the same thing...the keels looks identical in height, just carbide on the inner runner. Of the 2015s I've seen, I did not see a difference in height between the keels. Perhaps a better picture?
I don't understand why Yamaha doesn't make the ski wider, even 1/2 inch. Many times I've heard the excuse that there is a limit as to how wide a snowmobile's ski stance can be, but that can be circumvented by have an adjustable ski stance in the mounting system of the ski by flipping spacers around.

There is a state or two that had a 48" wide limit on the width of a sled, dumb law/limit IMO. I'd jump on a set of 7" wide tuners to replace my MTX ski on my phazer.

very easy to make the mounting wider and have offset spacers like my stealth skis from kimpex.
They could also have lefts and rights and add a 1-2in inside step up with a curl like my usi tripple threats.
I have seen some people on here taking the 10in wide simmons and running them through the saw, cutting the outside off.
also saw a set with two sets of mounts welded together, he just rebolted the skis wider for trail riding, narrowed up for the mountains.

Here are some pics of my home made duallies on the viper. Work well like they are, should be great with a new 6" carbide on highest position.
Here is my home made ski saver on the slydogs on our 06 Rages. Tacking the flat blade on the side got ride of the darting. Now have 6" carbides on in place of the worn 3". Doesn't sound reasonable but that short piece of blade tacked on the side stops darting even when worn down to 1/2 the height of the carbide.
I welcome any comments or ideas. Things are never so good that they can't be better.
I keep trying, the slydog had some changes since the pictures, but only the addition of 6" carbides made a difference.
Although I'm happy with the mod on the viper, I may try the slydogs on it. Think all I have to do is buy a spare set of viper ski dampeners and cut the rubber nubs off to make them fit.

do you have spoons welded on the front?
I used them on a set of powderhounds and they worked great.
I have also had great luck with arctic cat ofset duallies, you need to reweld a bolt or two but hey handle great, far better than stock dualies which pack full of snow on some conditions and become dangerous.
