Huhhuh! WOW! I like so much!! How much horsepower?

...and still waiting my mtx.

It's definitely bad #*$&@ lol. Only going to use it in the mountains it's not very trail friendly that's for sure.

Here in Sweden they are discussing to legislate against all free riding. Snowmobiling will in the future only be allowed on trails and tracks. That is due to "badass" riders who rides with no muffler and makes high noise – that pisses of everybody who lives in the fjells and those who is there for recreation and silence. Personally I think that it is just childish and stupid to make your sled louder than original. But hey, that's me.

I'm sure the turbo acts as a muffler. ha ha

I've actually seen sleds with the muffler located before the turbo. That is usually done because of shortage of space. But that doesn't seem to be the case here..? And, yes – the turbo do silence the noice quite a bit. And to get it to unsilly levels that is bearable for us who isn't that "badass" doesn't take much of an effort.
...
I do have some experience of turbocharging things but I've never got the silicone hoses to stay in place or not to rip apart using hose clamp of that kind. But I guess that whoever that mounted your kit knows what he is doing? Just saying, add some heat and fuel/oil and the silicone hose is slippery as hell.

Wow sounds like sweden SUCKS A FAT ONE. Now i didn't mean Obnoxiously loud as some two stroke cans are as the turbo as mentioned quiets down the engine considerable. Here in Alaska we ride miles from any houses and being able to hear wear your buddy is on the next ridge is a good thing so yeah LOUD PIPES DO SAVE LIVES and helps to locate peopel if you get seperated

Muffler befor the turbo??? You do understand how a turbo works. The turbine (exhaust side of turbo) uses the expanding gasses from the exhaust to turn the Compressor (the intake side of the turbo) so you want the turbo as close to the exhaust ports as you can, the further away from the engine its mounted the cooler the gasses become the the less effective and more laggy the turbo becomes. That's why you see turbos on a diesel engine mounted right at the exhaust manifold

Oh and you can stop beind a dick head by putting quotes around bad #*$&@. Like i said im sorry sweden sucks so bad[/QUOTE]

Yup. I have also seen it work, not only good but pretty perfect. Of course it's a compromise but there's is lots of things you can do to avoid lag. A well placed, well working dump is more crucial than a short exhaust. Here we use gps to find each other. And I do think you have an organisation in your country lobbying for a snowmobile free wild www.conservationalliance.com . And btw, they where successful in West Yellowstone...

He is right annoy the greenies at your own peril, word to the wise.

No you're right the Greenies are getting pretty bad here too in south cental AK. I do my best to be considerate to the skiers and hikers. but i do like to hear a little more grunt out of the engine than stock

Sorry to the OP for the derail of his thread

The hoses will be fine. I had a alpine turbod apex for a few thousand km with the same hoses and clamps with no problems.
