Ok, great. Guess it depends on how much boost you are putting thru it..? Or what quality they are made of? Or what quality the silicone hose is made of? I just know that it never worked out for me.The hoses will be fine. I had a alpine turbod apex for a few thousand km with the same hoses and clamps with no problems.
My clamps of that kind were made of acid resistant stainless steel AISI 316/ 2343 (a "good" quality) and I couldn't put enough stress on them to keep the silicone hose in place - without braking the clamp or the hose. But as long as I works for you, leave it. Rule no. 1: don't fix it if isn't broken.
Btw,
Looking forward to a video of the first ride.

Here in Sweden they are discussing to legislate against all free riding. Snowmobiling will in the future only be allowed on trails and tracks. That is due to "badass" riders who rides with no muffler and makes high noise – that pisses of everybody who lives in the fjells and those who is there for recreation and silence. Personally I think that it is just childish and stupid to make your sled louder than original. But hey, that's me.
Here in norrland we just blame the fjolltraeskare, and to translate it to english - Here in northern Sweden we just blames wimps from southern Sweden.
And alpineviper, More sound from the sled - more badass!

Get the intake outside the hood!
It will run like crap once hot under the hood like that.

Dealer installed the turbo kit. That's where they decided to put it. I'm kinda digging the stealth mode.....no snorkel, gauges, or any other reason to think its not stock.
I'm gonna leave it where its at while I get some break-in trail miles on it, then I'll consider moving it.
He is my custom snorkel for my REV turbo...

How do you know how much boost your running? Does the dealer know? Are you within a safe margin or possibly even too low? I only ask this to make sure your getting a quality experience and not a lackluster setup.
