2015 Yamaha MTX LE with MPI
Well I think our season is finally over but still have not put the sleds away yet in hopes for one more snow storm. keeping my fingers crossed for a few more weeks, ya right!
All I can say is these sleds rock, Lots of fun in the deep and steep playing in the woods. :-o We were lite on snow fall this year yet but managed to get in our usually 1000 ish miles of mostly back country riding so I'm a happy camper here. These sleds are so capable its changing how and where we ride to, we are going places we couldn't in previous years, deeper and steeper and I'm OK with that. ;)!

No break downs, no starting issues, no chain case issues, no daring, no FOX troubles or anything just turn key fun all season. I am sure we will have some maintenance issues in the years to come but that's normal.
We added SlyDog skis, bumpers, skid plates, clutch kit, tunnel bags and updated the SE's handle bar mounts to the taller and stronger MTX tripod set up for better off trail control. Removed the sway bars. Also updated the SE's oil tank to get the baffle and extra oil capacity with the dipstick. Our favor mod was the addition of the MPI turbos about 1/2 way through the season, It was cool driving the sleds before and after, fun factor goes way up with the turbos but its still a very capable sled without and will go anywhere. Special thanks to Matt and Mac and the rest of the team at MPI, you guys have it together, what a sweet bolt on performance kit!
Also special thanks to Mr Sled for keeping site going on the inter web, I will be a Life Time Member soon to, its time..We have rode with and meet some very cool people due to this site and those friendships will last a life time. Also looking forward to more TY rides to next season, what a great group of people. Only regret is not going sooner.

FYI, the trails reopen in 34 weeks -2 days- 15 hours- 22 min - 13 seconds at the time of writing this. :tg:

Oh come on..... nothing to bitch about???? How about the gas cap... every time I open mine it drops on the ground and when it in the trailer I cannot see it!!! they still have work to do at YamaCat:confused:

All kidding aside great to hear people loving them and having no issues. I know I sold my Pro S 800 SB after only 400 miles and bought another XTX a 15 this time and it is worlds ahead of the 14 in finish. I bought it to build a bad A$$ 350 ish hp drag sled but drove it at the end of the season and was so impressed with stock everything that I have held off starting anything. I may just up the 2014. I is wild that the stock sled can be so fun and just gas and go after coming off the 14 at 252 hp.

My bad, one issue I forget about, but it didn't require towing or missing a ride. My LE's blue/orange tunnel sticker started pealing so I have new ones now thanks to the Y.E.S plan.

The sticker started pealing back after the turbo was installed so maybe they are not turbo rated tunnel stickers? :dunno:

haha

By the way I checked and sticker warranties are voide with turbo installation. Poor glue technology is why a stock viper cannot exceed 90 mph :moon:

Must be that crappy Thief River Falls glue. Nothing made in Japan has ever been faulty or of poor quality.

Last ride of the year today in the back yard before putting the sleds away. 60 degrees and sunny and about 8 to 10inchs of snow.

Matius and Mark glad to hear your great year is just ending now - lucky Guys!!

My last ride with you all in Munisung was it for my year and pleased to say like you I had a gas and go year!

Some where between 11-12 hundred miles, low due to low snow like you.

Have a great summer!

YAMAHAGUYS where did you get the orange bumper for your LE? Like to get one on mine

I bought the Yamaha blue bumper and painted it AC orange, don't tell anyone! ;)

I need to repainted or touch up the bumper this summer sometime, it takes a beating where we ride. Probably should be powder coated but paint is cheap.

Did you intall the MPIS? what did it cost when all said and done?

Well no wonder its chipping. You should go with the John Deere green pain its so expensive it cant chip. I am not sure how it will look but will make a statement. LOL

I love the look by the way!

Just had the price of the turbo for 2200 with last year's SPS deal. We installed ourselves.

Only other thing you need is clutching, that could go cheap or pricy depending on what route you go. I would look up "clutching on the cheap" on here that Stingray started for some really good info to help dial in your clutch.
