I must be the only one who isnt impressed by Klim gear. Bought a pair of their gloves and they are colder than my $20 work gloves, and are falling apart after 1000 miles of riding... :o| :dunno:
X2

I have the togwottee gloves and loved them except this year they seem to have my fingertips getting cold. Last year and the year before my hands never got cold. They are very comfortable though for riding so I tend to just tolerate the numbness.

I have Klim uninsulated pants and love them. One layer of polyester and/or wool long underwear, then a pair of $7.00 fleece sweatpants from Dunham's Sports, then the Klim pants. Never have I been cold riding hundreds of miles a day.

I also just bought Klim boots and are liking them a lot too.

I use a castle jacket and have been getting some wind coming through it so it's not as warm as the pants are (and it's insulated even) so I may spend the money on a klim jacket sometime too.

Yamaha missed the boat when KLIM went to Polaris. I have 100% KLIM gear and could not be happier with it's performance. GREAT GEAR!

That's because you haven't tried Motorfist apparel. eVent is US Military Natick tested to be much more breathable than Gore.

Here's a cool video showing the differences:

MF's warranty is also better. For the 1st 5 years of the jackets/pants/bibs life, MF will provide loaner gear to you in the event they have to repair your gear. This ensures you still get to ride.

Klim is good stuff, don't get me wrong, just not the best any longer. ;)!

I have yamaha adventure bibs and wear a klim klimate jacket, and just wear tshirt with klim mid-layer and jacket!! Usually sweat even below zero ;)! Im happy with klim! Only paid $180 for jacket.
