hi new to me 2016 sr viper clutch comes in at 3400 is that right seems high for a four stroke

they were a bit high from the factory, I guess they thought that would make them feel more snappy. A lot of us put soft start springs in them

That’s about where my 16 was when I got it. Would spin the track every time you touched the throttle. Put in the Barn of Parts soft start and now it’s around 2600. Much more controllable when loading and unloading or when at the gas pumps and trying not to spin the studs on the concrete

Just call @Thunder Products and they can fix you right up. The stock secondary spring also would coil bind.
