Is anyone running a 2 up seat on a 2016 STX DX 137? I bought a used arctic cat seat for the same chassis but the seat wouldn't fit into the front pockets on the bumper. The seat on the Viper must sit higher than the AC. Looking for seat options for my sled.
I purchased the cat seat for my viper and its the same as the yamaha seat, only reason i purchased the cat seat was the yamaha seat wasn't available at the time that i purchased my 2014 viper so i went with the cat seat and rear grab bar, which wasn't as well designed as the yamaha grab bar, the cat used screws to attach the bar to the tunnel and yamaha used heavy duty rivets...

That must be why there is a separate part number for the 7000 models on Cats website. Two different seats. Can you have a machine shop add to the legs on the seat?

Looked at doing that. The seat is going to be pretty high up in the air. I looked at the kimpex but I have a feeling it's going to be the same issue.
make sure your passenger is a where they are a part of the balance of the sled and that they need to lean into the corners, it should be an issue, especially when approaching a embankment or off camber hills or trails...having you and your passenger in unison make for an awesome experience for both of you...
